AI Tool Bible is an independent UK site covering artificial intelligence – the news, and the tools – for smart, non-technical readers. Most AI coverage is either breathless hype or jargon written for engineers. The aim here is the opposite: explain what is actually happening, what it means for ordinary people and businesses, and what is safe to ignore.
The site is written and edited by Chris South, a full-time IT engineer with nearly two decades supporting IT across the public and commercial sectors. AI Tool Bible is a spare-time project, built and maintained alongside the day job – which means it answers to readers, not to a publisher or an advertiser.
To be straight about the process: articles are AI-assisted in drafting, but nothing is published unchecked. Every load-bearing claim is verified against a primary source – the study, the regulator, the company's own filing – rather than a second-hand write-up. Vendor figures are treated sceptically and corroborated independently where possible. Nothing goes live until it has been reviewed and signed off by a human editor.
If you spot something wrong, tell me and I will correct it. Accuracy matters more than being first.
Currently it doesn't. I was going to set up referral links but I haven't and there are no adverts either, so this is a passion project as much as anything else.
