This policy explains what AI Tool Bible ("we") collects when you visit aitoolbible.com, why, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email hello@aitoolbible.com.
To understand which articles and tools are useful, we keep a basic, privacy-respecting record of page visits on our own server. For each visit we record the page you viewed, the site that referred you (if any), your browser type, and a short visitor code that is generated from technical information, cannot be traced back to you, and is regenerated every day.
We do not store your IP address and this analytics uses no cookies, so it does not track you across sites or between days. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site, and we delete these records after 90 days.
On article pages only, a small script also records that the page was actually read rather than just fetched. It sends the page address and the same anonymous daily code, and only after the page has been open for a few seconds and you have scrolled or moved the pointer. It is how we tell a real reader apart from an automated scraper. It sets no cookie and stores nothing that identifies you.
When you click a link to an external tool or product, we record that the link was clicked so we can see which tools are popular. We record the tool or product and the same anonymous daily code – not who you are.
We would like to use Google Analytics for more detailed, aggregated statistics. Google Analytics sets cookies, so it runs only if you choose "Accept" on the banner shown when you first visit. If you choose "Reject", Google Analytics is never loaded. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the banner back. When enabled, Google Analytics processes data on Google's systems; see Google's own privacy information for details.
Before you make a choice, the only thing we store in your browser is your consent decision itself, so we don't keep asking – this is necessary to honour your preference. Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept.
The newsletter signup box on this site is provided by Beehiiv, our email platform. The form is loaded from Beehiiv on every page, which means your browser contacts them whether or not you sign up, and they receive the technical information any web request carries. If you do subscribe, Beehiiv processes your email address on our behalf and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click. Beehiiv also receives the campaign tags on any link that brought you here, so we can tell which post or newsletter a signup came from. We do not pass them anything else about you.
There are none. AI Tool Bible carries no advertising and no sponsored placements, and it uses no affiliate links, so we earn nothing when you click through to an external tool. Those are ordinary links, chosen on merit. If that ever changes we will say so here first, and any paid or commission-earning link will be labelled where it appears.
Under UK data protection law you have rights to access, correct, erase or object to the processing of your personal data. Because our own analytics is anonymous and cookieless, we usually cannot identify an individual's data within it – but if you wish to object to any processing, or have any request, email hello@aitoolbible.com and we will respond.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
